- Our client came to the firm in mid-2025. He had a pre-existing back injury but re-injured his back at work in 2023. His employer initially denied the claim, citing his pre-existing condition. The claimant hired an attorney from New York City who did not progress the claim which resulted in significant delays. When the claimant came to Lewis & Lewis, we were able to get his case back on track. We successfully litigated a number of difficult issues. Now our client is receiving medical care and lost wage benefits from the Workers’ Compensation carrier.
